When

8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., March 20, 2024

Overview

This year we are continuing to build on our tradition by hosting the 3rd annual Drone Day event! Drone Day is when we bring everyone together at and around University of Arizona who are using or interested in using unoccupied aerial vehicles (UAVs) in research and other academic activities. See The Wildcat article about last year's event!

This will be an opportunity to share research problems and opportunities, discuss tools and protocols, and learn about local resources.

Drone Day will include a morning of talks and discussion, and lunch, followed by drone demonstrations at Bear Down field (near to the meeting room building). The morning talks will be VIRTUAL-FRIENDLY, so feel free to register for just that portion if you would like to present or watch along!

Registration

  • register to attend
  • submit a talk your would like to give (Deadline Wednesday March 13, only title is required)
  • indicate interest in flying your drones, or just bringing them to show them off
